Hello Loves!
For those who follow my blog you already know that Jiwan and I love all things creative, but we
especially enjoy surprising one another with thoughtful gifts. So when I found this candy love note idea
on Pinterest I knew I had to create my own version for Jiwan!
This is such a simple idea that you guys can create for any special occasion, whether it is a candy note for
valentine’s day, mother’s day, father’s day, someone’s birthday etc.
I created a simple step by step list on how I came up with my final Candy Love Note to assist some of
you who may wish to do something similar for a loved one:
- I did some research on the internet and searched “candy notes” to get some ideas from other’s.
- I started making bullet points on what I wanted to express through my candy note. I changed
around the order a few times until I knew it was perfect.
- I went to a few places to find the candies I needed to complete my love note. It was difficult
finding some of the specialty candies but I was finally able to find them at a local specialty candy
store – Sugar Mountain. http://www.sugarmountain.ca/
- I can’t write in a straight line even if my life depended on it, so my soul sister Arianna was glad to help and did an amazing job. You also have the option of typing up the note but I found it
difficult to determine how much spacing you would need in between the candies once placed on
the Bristol Board.
- I wanted to add a special touch to my note so I added a few Bistrip cartoons of us to the letter.
WARNING: The only downfall is when you start collecting all the candy you start getting those
sweettooth cravings in the middle of the night, so you may need to replenish a few of your
candies before you
even start writing out the note. ;)

When I first met you, I felt like cupid had struck me with a bow and AERO and love was clearly in the CHOCO AIR! I always wonder how I was able to SKOR a BIG HUNK like you, that's not just a HOT TAMALES but a NERD all wrapped up in one!
My heart leaps ALMONDS each and every time I see you, and I always have MOUNDS of fun with with you. You always find a way to make me SNICKERS until my stomach hurts.
I made a WISH on MAGIC STARS and you came true!
I would search the whole GALAXY and travel across the MILKY WAY just to be with you! I can't wait to share many more memories with you filled with adventure and THRILLS! You will always be the pot of gold and the end of my SKITTLES rainbow.
