Hello Fashionista's! 

I have some exciting news to share with you guys, Jiwan and I tied the knot this past weekend and we are officially MARRIED!!  

Words can't even begin to express how happy Jiwan and I are to start the next chapter in our lives as husband and wife. 

Our wedding was everything we wanted and more, and it's mainly due to the family and friends who did everything to ensure our day was perfect.  

To our AMAZING friends and family THANK YOU for everything you guys did for us, we love you more than you will ever know! 

I will share MANY more blog posts leading up to the wedding and go into more detail in the days with LOTS of pictures so stay tuned.

It’s Official: I’m A New Home Owner!

Hi Loves! 

I am so sorry I’ve been MIA on the blog, I’ve been super busy over the past few weeks and have some exciting news to share – I just got the keys to my NEW condo! 

I am a first time home buyer and in all honestly, I think I have gone through all of the emotions that come with purchasing my first major investment property, from butterflies to nervousness to pure excitement.

The space is currently a blank canvas and I’ve been spending a lot of time on Pinterest trying to come up with my design boards.  I will be sharing my house decorating journey on the blog and hopefully will be able to inspire some of you! 

Jiwan and I love the idea of a minimalist style and want to incorporate that theme into our living space with statement art pieces throughout the home.  

If any of you have any suggestions on home furniture stores within the GTA (especially those that are for condo living) please contact me on Facebook or email me at gbuttar07@gmail.com.  I always appreciate recommendations/feedback from those who have already gone through the décor process.

The Anaya Couture Woman – Introducing Our Model and Muse Sim Sandhu:

Sim Sandhu is a 20 year old business student at York University. At 18, she was involved with several charities including “Because I Am A Girl Canada” which is an organization dedicated to giving under privileged girls a chance at a better future. In 2012, she was crowned in the Miss Teen Ontario World pageant and was a finalist for Miss Teen Canada World.

After receiving this title, she went on to work in the fashion industry as a model for several south asian magazines and as a commercial actor. She is a yoga enthusiast and enjoys all forms physical activity. Her future aspirations include graduating from university and traveling the world.
