Hey Guys!

Jiwan and I have some exciting news to share......we are EXPECTING!  We are both over the moon, and can't wait to meet our bundle of joy in August 2017! 

I have so many pregnancy related blogs that I will be sharing including our pregnancy story thus far, pregnancy fashion OOTD, favorite baby products etc. 

For now I wanted to share this OOTD shoot we did before we headed to my cousins engagement a few weeks ago. 

For those who may not know I own a clothing boutique called Anaya Couture specializing in custom made Indian/Pakistani clothing.  I know sometimes it could be daunting to dress up for an event when you are pregnant, but I have really enjoyed designing outfits to showcase my baby bump!  

I love the cape style outfits because it adds this element of being classy yet super chic at the same time and covers all of the areas where you have expanded ;)  I have a few more events in the coming weeks where I have designed some really cool pieces and can't wait to share. 

My hair and makeup is by Rav Beauty Concepts.  These ladies are AMAZING and always help complete any look that I am going for.

Hi Everyone! 

I hope you all are doing well!
I just wanted to do a quick post to celebrate my two year wedding anniversary and just reflect on everything!

I still can't believe how fast time goes by!  I remember prior to getting married so many people told me that marriage would be a hard adjustment, but I am thankful to say that has not been the case.  I have learned that if you truly are married to your best friend and you both support and encourage one another it really can be a fun and easy journey.  

I feel so blessed to have found a partner that has the same love for the arts as I do.  We run both a Photography Company (Lil' Peanut Photography) and a Clothing Boutique (Anaya Couture) and spend so much time together planning shoots, designing outfits, making DIY projects etc. and I wouldn't want it any other way. 

I truly can't wait to celebrate many more anniversaries and milestones with my soulmate!

Hey Fashionista's!

I hope you guys are doing well!  

I recently attended my cousin's engagement and wanted to share what I wore!  I honestly love the wedding season, because not only do you get to party with your nearest and dearest, but who doesn't love getting dressed up! 

Through out the year I am always coming up with designs for my boutique Anaya Couture and different ways I can style outfits for my clients and myself.  It's so much fun when I get to see my whole vision come to life.  I always tell my clients have fun when it comes to designing an outfit, let it reflect you and make you feel beautiful inside and out.  

Ok let's talk about this outfit now!! This is a custom made floral outfit I designed from my clothing boutique.  I wanted to pair the lengha bottom with a simple black top so I could balance out the bottom and better showcase my jewellery and this stunning duppatta!  I swear I pair this dupatta with so many of my other pieces (it goes with everything). 

As most of you fashionista's already know, no outfit is complete without hair and make up,  and of course I had to book the super talented team Kaashni and Rav from Rav Beauty Concepts.  I love working with these talented ladies because they are so amazing at what they do.  If there is any advice I can give me reader's, it is that you can take risk's and experiment with different edgy hair and makeup looks to go with your Indian outfits --> you just need the right team to help you achieve it.

Gagan's gorgeous outfit had lots of colour, and not to mention the smoked out purple we gave on her eyes.  To balance out the look and ensure the makeup still looked classy and coincided with the era of her hairstyle, we chose a nude lip.  Currently, our favorite nude shade is NARS: Belle de Hour - sheer nude beige. - Kaashni Brar, Rav Beauty Concepts.

Shine Bright Like A Diamond - It's My Birthday!

For some of you who may already know today is my birthday!  I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that has already called/text/messaged me!

I have been so busy with Anaya Couture and Lil' Peanut Photography that I have been slacking on my blogposts (sorry)!  I decided to share this post that I shot months ago (so bad I know)!
