Hey Guys!
First off I just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone that has called/messaged/text me today for my birthday!
This might be the first blog ever where I have taken pictures/uploaded/posted on the SAME day!
I thought I would be fun to start a snapchat selfie series on my blog! For this post I decided to included some random Q&A questions below for my birthday.
What did you want for your birthday this year?
I already got the best gift I could ever ask for - Baby Alizey. It's my first birthday with her and I can't even begin to explain how much joy and happiness she has brought into my life.
What did Jiwan get you for your birthday?
To be honest we don't do the whole birthday exchange thing, because we just end up buying what we really need/want anyways. For me it's usually a shopping fix at Zara's and for him it's some kind of camera equipment. For us it's the little things that count so he came home today with my favourite lemon cupcakes....YUMMMMMM!
In what ways have you grown in the past year?
Motherhood has completely changed me and I have grown in so many ways! It is so humbling to bring life into this world and be responsible for another little human. I am going to do a separate blogpost on Motherhood and will go into more detail then.
Are you scared of getting older?
No, it maybe because I still feel like I am 20 lol! But in all honestly when I reflect back I feel like in a weird way I have lived many lives, and as I get older I am more happier and content in where I am in my life.
I also strongly believe if you nourish your mind body and soul you will forever be young at heart! Although I must admit I am the heaviest I have every been after giving birth so the body needs some work ;) (finally getting back to the gym)
What advise would you give your younger self?
I would tell my younger self in the end things always work out. I would tell her that no matter what obstacle comes your way God has a bigger and better plan for you.
Where do you see yourself in 5 Years?
I see myself living a simple and happy Zen life with my family.
